A collection of my landscape paintings
I am fascinated by our landscape. There is so much diversity in our urban, rural, and natural environments. I love to see our landscape in vibrant colours and I like to paint it that way. I'm continually trying to challenge myself choosing different subjects in our environment and looking for the subtleties of light and shade. You can see in my work that I am very much influenced by impressionist and post-impressionist movements in Canada and the United States.
Several years ago, I tried plein air painting with oil paints and fell in love with it. Since then, I have shown my work in a variety fine art exhibitions and galleries and I have been extremely excited about my success and the positive feedback I have received.
